Many came and joined us at East Mission Bay beach on Saturday, June 25th at 4:30 p.m. for a picnic, bonfire and to send off the witch to Bloksbjerg. We all enjoyed the day on the beach. The Lacrosse team from Denmark joined us and many members and friends.
We cooked hot dogs and snobrød (homemade bread dough) over the bonfire along with salads, chips and snacks. we then sang the traditional Sankt Hans songs.
Sankt Hans is the Danish midsummer celebration.
