It has been a long wet winter here in San Diego but I think the warmer weather is here to stay.

FASTELAVN Feb 2023 Hello Everyone, from Randy;

As we enjoy the rain this weekend, I’m so glad it was dry last Saturday. We had a great Fastelavn turnout with plenty of candy and boller! I really appreciate everyone’s help with promoting the event, baking, providing craft supplies and branches, song leading, setting up and putting away. Our little ones were very patient while the candy barrel was slowly being smashed. Jonas’ batting skills hastened the process. Thanks to Rasmus and Michael no one had to visit urgent care!

Påskeklip / Easter Crafts 2023

The hunt for the chocolate Easter eggs decorating the tables along with paper cutting and crafts were in full swing while waiting for the final preparations for the Påskefrokost / traditional Easter buffet this past Saturday.We enjoyed a delectable array of traditional dishes including herring with curry sauce, smoked salmon, egg and tomato with shrimp, frikadeller (meatballs) with potato salad and cucumber salad, leverpostej (liver pate) with bacon and homemade pickled beets, ham and Italian salad, various cheeses, and of course beer and akvavit.
